Adult content shoots for creators

Content creators on subscription platforms book men for stills and short clips for their own pages, and some of that work is filmed rather than photographed. The creator sets the brief, you agree the level and the rate in writing, and the shoot is usually at a hire studio, an apartment location or the creator's own set-up. This is the fastest-growing source of male model jobs on the board.

Life modelling

Art schools, colleges and drawing groups pay men to pose nude or clothed for classes. You are drawn, not photographed, so no images of you exist afterwards, which suits men who want paid nude work without a public footprint. The board is national, but two cities carry most of the male modelling jobs. London has the deepest spread: hire studios in East London and the Docklands, daylight studios in North and West London, hotel and apartment locations in Central London, and the largest number of creators and fine art photographers in the country. Manchester is the second market, and for men based in the North it is often the better one, with less competition per brief, studios in Ancoats and the Northern Quarter, and photographers who draw models from Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield and the North West. How competitive are male model jobs?

More competitive than the women's side, and it is better to know that now. There are fewer male briefs than female briefs on the board, and more men apply to each one. The men who get booked are not always the ones with the best physique. They are the ones a photographer can rely on.

Portfolio, ID and how to apply

You do not need a portfolio, studio shots or any nude photos to apply, and nude or explicit photos are never a condition of joining. Set up your profile under your own name or a stage name, add a clear, recent face photo from your phone, state your level and your experience honestly, and set your location and travel radius. A human reviewer checks your photo ID, usually within a day, and your profile goes live to verified photographers, producers and creators.
