Glamour

Lingerie, swimwear and boudoir work for photographers, magazines and brand content. Nothing explicit is required, and many models never move past this level. Topless

Nude and implied

Full nude and implied nude photography for photographers and publishers, with image usage agreed in writing before you shoot. Implied work suggests nudity through pose and framing without showing it, and is a popular middle ground. Art nude

Life modelling for artists

Filmed scene work for vetted producers, for women who decide that level is right for them. It sits behind the same ID checks and written agreements as stills work, with the higher scene rates above. Modelling jobs in London

London carries more modelling castings than any other UK city, across glamour, nude, art nude and content shoots, with studios in every zone and photographers who book models from across the South East. Modelling jobs in Manchester

Manchester is the busiest modelling market in the north of England, and the second most active city on the Climaxx Media board after London. Photographers work out of hire studios around the Northern Quarter, Ancoats and Salford, and out of converted mill spaces on the edge of the city that suit natural-light glamour and art nude work. Content producers also shoot in Manchester regularly, so the mix of briefs runs from lingerie and boudoir sessions through to filmed productions for women who have chosen that level.

The city draws models from across the region. Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, Preston and Stockport are all within an hour by train, so a Manchester brief is realistic as a day trip from most of the north, and photographers who post on the board know that. Many state that travel is covered, and the brief always shows the location at city level before you apply, with the exact studio shared once you are booked.

Working in Manchester runs on exactly the same terms as anywhere else on the platform: your ID is verified once, the photographer who books you is ID checked and vetted, the level and rate are agreed in writing before you confirm, and you shoot only what was agreed. Plus size and mature models

There is no single look required for the modelling jobs on this board, and no upper age limit beyond the legal minimum of 18. Glamour and boudoir photographers book curvy and plus size models for exactly the same rates as anyone else, art nude photographers and life drawing groups actively prefer variety of shape and age, and mature models in their forties, fifties and beyond are in steady demand for glamour, art nude and filmed work.

The way to make this work for you is honesty on your profile. State your build, your age range and your level plainly, and the castings that reach you will be ones where the photographer already wants what you offer. That is the opposite of a high-street agency that keeps you on the books and never calls. You will not be booked under false expectations, and you will not waste a day travelling to a shoot that was never a fit.

How to apply without uploading photos to begin

You do not need a portfolio, a set of studio shots or any nude photos to apply. Create your model profile under a stage name, add a clear face photo from your phone so that a human reviewer can match you to your ID, and set the level you are comfortable with. That is the whole application. Nude or explicit photos are never a condition of joining, and you decide what appears on your profile at every stage.

Once your ID check is complete, verified photographers and producers can find your profile and send booking requests, and you can browse the casting board and apply to briefs that show the rate, level and city up front. Your first paid shoots build the portfolio for you. Most models on the board started with no experience, and briefs marked newcomers welcome say so before you apply.

Women apply through the model door above. Men looking for modelling or performing work register through the performer sign-up instead, and photographers and producers who want to book verified models can search the Climaxx Media talent directory.

Is modelling work safe?

It is when it runs through verification rather than a direct message from a stranger. On Climaxx Media every photographer and producer who can contact you is ID checked and vetted before they see your profile, you are ID verified before your first booking, and messages and bookings stay on the platform where they are logged. Anyone who tries to move you off the platform, asks you to pay for a shoot, or wants an unpaid audition is reported and removed.

Before any shoot the level, the rate and where your images may be used are agreed in writing. On the day you shoot only what was agreed, you can stop at any point, and you are paid the agreed rate by the person who booked you. You work under a stage name, and your legal name, contact details and identity documents are held privately for verification and never shown to photographers, other members or the public.
